What kid has not dreamt of going to Disney Land or much less, Disney World? We Disney babies all have, at one time or another, swore that we would be forever happy if we got the chance to go to Disney Land. Well, I got my wish a couple of years back and I’m sharing my experience with you here.
Disney World is a heaven for everyone, not just kids. And since there are a lot – and I really do mean a lot – of things you can do there, it would do you good to set aside at least a week to spend in that magical place.
Toy Story Midway Mania
Well, the first one is a bit self-explanatory I guess. I love Toy Story just as much as the next person so I go gaga over anything Toy Story. This experience however, felt so authentic I guess due to the fact that I was in the presence of what I felt was the perfect embodiment of Toy Story. A word to the wise if you want to try this: the early bird catches the worm. The line for this is long, like, you wait for almost two hours before you can get in – and that’s in the first hour of opening.
The Carousel of Progress is just the opposite of the Toy Story Midway Mania. There are no lines and the atmosphere is so much more relaxed. It’s also a very scenic place rich with history (I read the guide book for the history). This is perfect for all parents who want to relax while the children want to enjoy.
And of course, the Haunted Mansion. Don’t worry, it’s very kid-friendly. In fact, it isn’t scary at all. It’s a classic place which is fabulous beyond words and very absolutely positively cheesy. I loved it though. I’m sure all of you will too.
So that’s my dream fulfilled right there, next up are the top Cirque du Soleil productions another dream of mine!
