Budapest is a fantastic place for a city break, if you haven’t been there then you need to go soon! With flights being so affordable and so much to see there really is no excuse for not booking your ticket right away.
Budapest is without question one of the best European cities that I have been fortunate enough to visit. There are picturesque parks, great shopping, trendy art scene and of course a buzzing nightlife which I am sure you will love. To make the city even better I implore you to book a suite at the Corinthia Hotel Budapest, it’s one of the grandest hotels I have ever stayed in and it’s certainly the most beautiful.
The hotel has everything you need to relax and it’s also in a prime location so exploring the city is easy, it’s only a stones throw away from most of the historical and cultural landmarks in Budapest. What impressed me most about The Corinthia was the room that I was staying in, I went there with my girlfriend so to make the trip a bit more special I booked us in to Deluxe Suite.
This 742 square foot room blew us both away when we first walked in, the room just oozed class and comfort. I didn’t let on to my girlfriend that we would be staying somewhere so nice and let me tell you that the surprise earn me serious browny points! So, let me tell you why the suite was so special:
The Space
From the moment you enter you can see that the room has been so well designed. We had a king size bed in a separate bedroom, a huge living room, mesmerising views of the stately boulevards outside and two, yes two, luxurious marble bathrooms.
The Extras
As you would expect for such an amazing hotel, the extras were amazing. We had complimentary access to the Executive Club lounge, wifi, coffee machine, cable tv and a state of the art Bose surround sound system, complimentary mini bar and the most comfortable sofas I have ever sat on!
The Food
Sometimes when you’re on holiday you just feel like having a night in and relaxing, it’s a holiday and relaxing is the main aim! In the Corinthia Budapest it’s easy to kick back in such a luxurious suite for the whole day if you want, this is made easy because the in-room dining is second to none. The menu is one to die for and if you’re a food like me you will end up over ordering because you just want to try everything.
