Beaches; the place to go to for surfers, swimmers, sunbathers and tourists seeking leisurely and relaxing activities are one of the world’s most attractive tourist destinations. With over thousands upon thousands of beaches in the world, the following five are my favourite as one of the most beautiful, captivating and enchanting places to visit:
Rabbit Beach, Italy:An isolated tourist heaven that can only be accessed by boat, the Rabbit Beach resides on the island of Lampedusa off the south coast of Sicily, Italy. Consider by most as one of most unspoiled and natural beach in the world, it is one of the rare places in the world where loggerhead sea turtles come to lay their eggs. TripdAdvisor.com placed Rabbit Beach on the top spot in its list for the best beaches in the world, based on reviews and ratings by tourist like you. Lanikai Beach, Hawaii:Hawaii, the epitome of scenic beauty and tourism. It’s Lanikai Beach, located in Lanikai is a relatively small but one of the most respected beaches in the world. Rated by many as one of the best beaches in the world, it is known for its photo shoots as famous models and photographers pick Lanikai Beach as their shooting spot. It is important to note that because Lanikai Beach is neither private nor state property, facilities like car parking, restroom, showers and lifeguards are unavailable there. 
Whitehaven Beach, Australia:Only accessible by boat, Whitehaven beach is a heaven stretching over 7km along Whitsunday Island. Awarded numerous awards due to its cleanliness, beauty and eco friendliness, Whitehaven beach is regarded as a must-visit for beach lovers of all sorts. A swimming contest is held yearly in the month of November comprising of a 2km open swimming race as part of the Hamilton Island Triathlon Event. It is important to note that dogs as well as cigarette smoking is prohibited there.
Whitehaven Beach is known for its white sands. Unlike regular sand, the sand on Whitehaven Beach does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot on a hot day.
The Hamptons, New York:Of the many beaches situated in the Hamptons, the Main Beach in East Hampton is the one to visit. Tourists from all around the world visit this beautiful destination for all types of leisurely activities such as swimming and just sun bathing on the sand. The beach hosts a snack bar, while a life guard overlooks swimmers at all times.
Baia Do Sancho, Brazil:Of all the 2,100 beaches in Brazil, the Baia Do Sancho beach is considered the most beautiful of them all. The beach is marked by its 230 feet tall cliffs topped by trees surrounding clean, comfortable sand. Although the island has room for about 700 tourists at a time, its beach is almost never crowded due to its relatively inaccessible nature. To reach this piece of heaven, you will either need to travel by boat in the morning or on foot, covering several hundred meters of tricky trail and uneven steps.
